2. Booking and Payment

2.1 Deposit Requirement
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total price is required at the time of booking for all cruise bookings made through Pointers Travel. This deposit guarantees your reservation and confirms your intent to travel.

2.2 Final Payment Deadline
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the departure date to ensure your reservation is confirmed. You may choose to pay the full amount at the time of booking if you prefer. Failure to complete payment by the stipulated deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking without prior notice.

2.3 Booking Process
Bookings can be made exclusively through our official website. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide, including names, travel dates, and payment details.

2.4 Non-Payment and Cancellation
If the full payment is not received by the required deadline, Pointers Travel reserves the right to cancel the booking without prior notice and apply cancellation fees as outlined in our Cancellation and Refund Policy (see Section 3).

2.5 Price Changes
All prices listed on our website are subject to change until your booking is confirmed. Once a booking is confirmed with a deposit or full payment, the agreed-upon price will not be affected unless you add new services or adjust your existing reservation. Any such alterations may result in additional charges.


3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation Request
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must submit a written cancellation request to Pointers Travel at info@pointerstraveldmc.com. Cancellations are considered final once we confirm receipt of your request.

3.2 Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees are applied according to the schedule below:

  • 35% of the total booking cost if canceled 35–22 days before departure.
  • 50% of the total booking cost if canceled 21–15 days before departure.
  • 100% of the total booking cost if canceled 14 days or less before departure.

3.3 Government-Imposed Travel Restrictions
If a cruise is canceled due to government-imposed travel restrictions preventing the voyage from taking place, you will be entitled to a full refund. However, cancellations due to personal travel restrictions, illnesses, or visa issues will be subject to the standard cancellation fees outlined above.

3.4 Refund Processing
Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed within 30 days of our receipt of your cancellation request. The refund will be issued to the original form of payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.


4. Liability Disclaimer

4.1 Third-Party Services
Pointers Travel operates as a booking intermediary for cruises, hotels, airlines, and other travel-related services. We are not liable for any disputes, claims, or damages arising from the acts or omissions of these third-party providers. Any concerns regarding service quality, cancellations, or other issues must be directed to the relevant service provider.

4.2 Itinerary Changes
Cruise operators, airlines, and other providers may alter itineraries due to weather conditions, mechanical failures, or other operational decisions. Pointers Travel is not responsible for any changes to your travel plans caused by such unforeseen circumstances.

4.3 Inherent Travel Risks
Travel involves certain inherent risks. By booking a trip through Pointers Travel, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Pointers Travel is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss that occurs during or as a result of your trip.

4.4 Travel Delays and Missed Connections
Pointers Travel is not responsible for any expenses or losses resulting from missed flights, missed connections, or other travel delays beyond our control. We recommend that you consider purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen disruptions.


5. Passenger Responsibilities

5.1 Travel Documentation
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documentation. Failure to provide proper documents may result in denied boarding or entry, and Pointers Travel is not liable for any associated losses or expenses.

5.2 Compliance with Rules and Regulations
Passengers must comply with all regulations set by the cruise operator, airline, hotel, or other service providers. This includes safety protocols, conduct guidelines, and local laws.

5.3 Conduct and Behavior
Pointers Travel reserves the right to deny service or terminate a booking if a passenger’s conduct is deemed disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate. This includes any behavior that compromises the safety or enjoyment of other passengers or staff.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our official website, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly.
