Our first destination is Risnjak Nature Park. We started our hike from the small town of Razloge, from there we continue on foot. The hiking trail from Razlog is serpentine and it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the source. Expect twice as much time to return.
The upper reaches of the Kupa River is called the Wonderful Valley of Butterflies because of the wealth of flora and fauna.
With an additional request in Risnjak National Park, it is possible to organize a CRO bear photo hunt.
We continue our journey to Plešci, where lunch is waiting for us in the Lipa restaurant.
Right next to the restaurant is Palčeva šiša, a preserved original building from the middle and second half of the 19th century, a unique example of stone architecture in the valley.
Not far from Plešci is Prezid, where you should definitely see the Vesel House. An example of typical traditional construction of a family house in this part of Gorski Kotar.
The evening is approaching, we arrive in Čabar, Čabar is in the north of Gorski Kotar.
Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
The city and its surroundings are rich in natural beauties. In the center of the city there are two significant historical monuments – the castle (curia) of Peter Zrinski and the baroque church of St. Antun Padovanski from the 17th century. The castle from 1651 has a preserved part of the wall, towers and vaults on the ground floor. Local collection items, a gallery with art paintings and hunting trophies are on display in the castle.
Only 9 km away is the Trsce adrenaline park, Gorski Lazi (Čabar). It offers us a wide range of outdoor activities with a large dose of adrenaline. Each participant is securely bound to the main guide. Regardless, the feeling of floating above the space below you is full of adrenaline and a thirst for adventure. Anyone taller than 140 cm can go the way, including you who have at least a little stamina and courage.
After active relaxation, the best way to end the day is in green nature with the rush of water. In the immediate vicinity we have this opportunity, the relaxing sounds of the Čabranka spring are made to end the day. Čabranka is a short river between Croatia and Slovenia, a left tributary of the Kupa. It has one of the most beautiful springs in Croatia. It is 17.5 km long, rises under the plain, Veliki Obrh near Čabar.
