Discover Gorski kotar from a new perspective – a cycling challenge

Gorski kotar offers you 33 routes of varying length and difficulty that are not overly demanding. You can choose according to the difficulty and environment, always different, interesting and beautiful!

Cycling offers a new perspective of seeing and at the same time the opportunity to discover the area on a large scale.

All routes are interconnected and form a network that, together with the existing Gorski kotar cycling routes, covers the entire Gorski kotar area. The lengths of the paths are usually between 25 and 30 kilometers.

Bicycle routes Brod Moravica
The cycle paths connect 38 settlements in the Brod Moravice commune, located on 63 km2 of green space. Hiking trails with an altitude difference from 200 to 670 m above sea level lead to the Delač house from 1644, the Turanj stone tower, the attractive viewpoints of Orlov and Kavranova stijena, or to some of the 12 churches of the Brodmoravica region, which are best seen from there from sees hill Parag. Going down into the Kupa River valley, you can go kayaking, canoeing, fishing or play paintball. Wherever you are on these cycle paths – you return to nature, and relaxation and enjoyment are inevitable.

Intimate way
Novi Vinodolski – Begovo Razdolje – this 45.5 km route will not leave anyone indifferent; It starts from the sea coast of Novi Vinodolski and climbs towards Gorski kotar towards the highest inhabited place in Croatia – Begovo Razdolje.

Ravna Gora green hiking trails
The green hiking trails of Ravna Gora offer you the opportunity to create your own route through scenic forest areas without fear of getting lost.
Ravna Gora cycling trails are marked with a unique marking system and are suitable for users who do not know how to navigate using a topographic map.
A complete map of Ravna Gora green trails has been printed outlining the main cycling trails, natural sights, cultural monuments, accommodation, restaurants and other service facilities in the Ravna Gora area. You can buy a map at the tourist office in Ravna Gora.
The unique way of marking makes it very easy to design a trail according to your own wishes and possibilities.

3) Lokve – Gorski Raj – Mrzla Vodica – Gornje Jelenje – Fužine – Vrata – Lokve (about 35 km)

Stop along the way and enjoy the view. No matter which direction you go, you will find gastronomic delights in many mountain huts and restaurants.
