About the Museum of Sinjska Alka

In this unique place, you can experience the unity of culture, science, and education while you learn more about the Croatian tradition. Every visitor can experience the uniqueness of this tradition throughout the whole year. The manifestation ‘Sinjska alka’ reaches its highpoint in August when you can see richly decorated uniforms of the alkars, their weapons and equipment, and the magnificent procession which embodies the 300-year-long tradition. Sinj has always been a unique combination of tradition and modernity, which is why the museum also uses multimedia to display the famous battle beneath Sinj in 1715, or to display old rulebooks and guides for alkars. As part of the permanent exhibition, you can watch the documentary and feature film about the history of Sinjska alka, which will let you experience the history of chivalrous competition in Sinj.

About Canoeing through Cetina Canyon

Downhill with inflatable boats on wild water in one of the most beautiful and as yet undiscovered canyons in Europe. Impressive rocks with Mediterranean vegetation and cliffs up to 100 meters high and breathtaking. In an environment of untouched nature, an impressive canyon, experienced guides, quality equipment (vest, helmet, etc.) will make 3-4 hours safe and exciting.
