Far away from hectic everyday life – Drenovci

If you want to spend your day or weekend in peace and away from the hectic everyday life, Drenovci is the ideal solution for you. This beautiful area is called Cvelferija. The beauties of the plains and fertile fields, forests and the proximity of the Sava River.

The beauty of this area was described through his poems by Đuka Galović, a folk poet from Drenovac, who also wrote the famous song “We have been border guards for a long time, we guarded the border on the Sava …”

So we start our tour through Drenovac in the museum of Cvelferija, accompanied by a local guide, who vividly brings us closer to the customs and way of life of our ancestors.

We continue to the Drenovci Agricultural Entrepreneurship Incubator – which is designed to support the development of existing and the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Users focus on fruit processing, mainly apple, cherry and aronia juice production, plum jam production, aronia production, butternut squash production. Bread and pastries are also made from sunflower flour and pasta and many other products.

After the tour, lunch is in the object. After lunch we use our free time in the center of Drenovci, a relaxed walk, drink coffee and a pleasant conversation.

Before leaving this area, let’s go to the Pranić family farm. Here the owner introduces us to cheese making. The tour is rounded off by tastings: fresh soft cheese, cooked, hard, semi-hard, smoked and with various additives (paprika, chives, pepper, parsley, nettle).
