Did you know that besides the magnificently blue sea, unspoiled nature and lots of tradition, Croatia is famous for mandarines?

Neretva valley, also known as the ‘mandarin valley‘, is hosting more and more tourists every year. Tourists that are into an active vacation as well as sustainability and giving back, will love this tour!

In the whole Neretva area, there are around 1.3 million seedlings of mandarins, which give up to 60 tons of fruit each year. The locals came to an idea to get a chance to the tourists to join their harvest, enjoy nature and come back home with a bag full of mandarins.

Traditional music that follows the tourists while harvesting, great company, clean air, bags filled with mandarins, a tasty and rich meal in a domestic atmosphere, and a lot more is what makes this tour special.

Also, there is a foto safari tour that shows you the Neretva area from a different perspective.

Do not wait anymore! If you want anything but a plain vacation, feel free to contact us!

Day IZagreb - Metković

Our bus pick you up at 08:00 am from Zagreb and take you on a tour in the Neretva valley. We will arrive at around 14:00 pm. In the morning after breakfast, we are going on the mandarin fields where there will be a welcome drink and after that, we start collecting mandarins. Music will follow us during the harvest. After we finish harvesting, we get a chance to take 3kg of mandarins for ourselves. That is a lot of vitamin C, right?
When we finish harvesting we are going on a safari tour with boats more than a hundred years old (do not worry, they are safe). After the safari tour, we are heading to the hotel for lunch with live music following. Free evening.
