Risnjak National Park Travel destination for nature lovers and active vacationers

We drive towards Risnjak National Park, pass Delnice, near Crni Lug we take the local road towards Razloga. There is a large parking lot with an information point and the path to the spring begins a little further, right next to the center for visitors “Goranska kuća znanja” (House of Knowledge).

First we visit the information center “Goranska kuća znanja”. The information center interprets the rich biodiversity of this river.

We continue our way to the source of the Kupa. The path can be walked for most of the year, but is an obstacle when visiting the source of the Kupa in heavy rainfall and in spring due to the snowmelt and large amounts of water, only 5 minutes away. Time required for the entire route approx. 40 minutes.

Because of its extraordinary beauty, rich flora and fauna, the upper reaches of the Kupa River is also called the Wonderful Valley of Butterflies.

Enchanted by this beauty, we continue our journey towards Crni Lug, where lunch awaits us at the Risnjak National Park information center.

The afternoon is meant to be relaxed and in nature.

If you still want to spend an active afternoon, you can visit several points not far from the information center: Leska – educational trail, Vučja jama, Medvjeđa vrata …

The active day comes to an end, we go to Delnice, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast, after which we discover the town of Delnice on a gentle stroll. Delnice is the highest place in Croatia, it is located at about 700 meters above sea level and is surrounded by mountains.
We continue immediately, after about an hour’s bus ride, we arrive at the adrenaline park “Tršće” Čabar.

It offers us a wide range of outdoor activities with a large dose of adrenaline. Each participant is securely bound to the main guide. Regardless, the feeling of floating above the space below you is full of adrenaline and a thirst for adventure. Anyone taller than 140 cm can go the way, including you who have at least a little stamina and courage.

Čabar is only 9 km from the Tršće adrenaline park.
After active relaxation, the best way to end the day is with a cozy meal..
