The famous Krknjaši (Blue Lagoon) is an inter-island anchorage just 13 nautical miles from Split. Incredible turquoise color of the sea, true nature, beautiful beaches and shallow sandy bottom make up one of the most popular beaches on the Adriatic.
Maslinica is the only place on the island of Solta located in a bay on the west side of the island. The place has a beautiful landscape, a pine forest on the south side, well-protected Sesul bays and an archipelago of seven islands. On the largest of them there is a monastery from the 5th and 6th centuries.
Maslinica was founded in 1703 when the aristocratic March family received permission from Venice to establish a new settlement and build a castle with towers that served to prevent pirate attacks. Today the castle has become an attractive and very popular restaurant “Conte Alberti”.

In the early afternoon we dock in Bol where our adventure continues. We drive from the south side of the island of Brač and admire its vineyards. On the way we have swimming possibilities like in paradise.
