Itinerary

1st day - Split - sightseeing with a guide

Split is the second largest city in Croatia and the largest Dalmatian city.
The history of Split has been going on for 17 centuries, since the Roman Emperor Diocletian
decided to build a palace on this peninsula where he would spend the last years of his life in
peace. The palace slowly developed into a city that today attracts with its rich tradition, great
history and the beauty of its natural and cultural heritage.
One and only Split with a beautiful waterfront, a favorite city promenade, a central gathering
place and the starting point for all sightseeing. The waterfront is full of cafes and restaurants
with a beautiful view of the sea and the island of Brač across the street.

Kaštela -Morning walk around Kaštel Lukšić. 

Day 2 - Kaštela - Okrug

Kaštela is a beautiful area located between Split and Trogir, and a morning walk through Kaštel
Lukšić, Kaštel Gomilica and the surrounding natural beauty offers a unique experience of
history, culture and nature.
Kaštel Lukšić is known for its restored castle, which today serves as the cultural center of the
city. Inside the castle is the Museum of the City of Kaštela, where visitors can explore the rich
history of this area. In addition to the museum, the castle offers space for numerous cultural
events and exhibitions.
After that, the walk leads to Kaštilec in Kaštel Gomilica, a medieval tower that became world
famous after it was used as a filming location for the popular series "Game of Thrones". The
tower is one of the most photographed symbols of Kaštela, with its romantic appearance and
historical significance.
The walk continues to the Bible Garden of Stomorija, located on the southern slopes of Kozjak.
This garden is a true paradise for nature lovers, where you can enjoy the peace and beauty of
the plants mentioned in the Bible. There is also a lookout tower nearby, which offers a wonderful
view of the entire Kaštela bay. This is an ideal place for taking photos or simply enjoying the
panorama.
For wine lovers, a small vineyard with autochthonous grape varieties has been planted nearby,
as a symbol in honor of the winegrowers and winemakers of this region. This walk through the
historical and natural beauty of Kaštela offers a rich experience and unforgettable scenes that
remain in the memory for a long time.
Okrug - Dinner on Kopakabana beach in Okrug offers a perfect combination of relaxation by the
sea, beautiful sunsets and authentic Dalmatian flavors. Located on the island of Čiovo,

Kopakabana beach is known for its beauty, clear sea and wonderful views of the surrounding
islands and the bay.
Restaurants located right next to the beach often offer outdoor tables, where you can enjoy the
light wind and the sound of the waves. A menu could consist of freshly prepared fish or seafood,
such as Dalmatian sea bass, sea bream, grilled squid, clams or grilled octopus
The district is known for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly hosts, so your evening on the
Kopakabana beach will be a truly Mediterranean experience - delicious food, beautiful ambience
and peaceful atmosphere with the sound of the sea.

Day 3 - Kaštela -Sinj

Get to know Sinj - the city of the Alkar knights and the most famous Marian shrine in Dalmatia.
It is located in Dalmatinska Zagora, in the Cetinje region, only thirty kilometers from the Adriatic
Sea. It is surrounded by the mighty, impressive mountains of Dinara, Kamešnica and Svilaja,
the fertile valley of Sinjsko polje and the stunningly beautiful Cetina river.
A visit to the museum of Sinj alka, which preserves the rich history of Alka and Sinj. While
walking through the museum, you can view the original uniforms, equipment and weapons of
the Alkars of Sinj, Alkar statutes and regulations, and numerous photographs in modern digital
form. It is equipped with the most modern equipment thanks to which you can try your hand at shooting Alka.

Day 4 - Plitvice

Plitvice Lakes National Park is the largest, oldest and most visited national park in Croatia. And
on top of all that, it is the only one that made it to the UNESCO World Heritage List. How?
Mainly because of its rich flora and fauna and sixteen magical turquoise lakes with numerous
cascades. The beauty of this national park is truly unique and that is why Plitvice is visited by
more than a million people from all over the world.

 

Day 5 and 6 - Departure for NP RISNJAK

Risnjak National Park is a real mountain oasis that offers unforgettable excursions in every
season and is a true paradise for enjoying nature in complete peace. The professional guides
with whom you will meet Risnjak are lovers of the park and know it very well. They are very
engaged and with them you will experience Risnjak in a special way! The paths to choose from
are from the easiest to the most demanding. One leads to the source of the Kupa River, which
is a real natural gem. It is an impressive hydrological phenomenon located under high rocks.

Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, harmoniously combines historical charm and the busy rhythm of modern life. Located along the Sava River, the city delights visitors with its Upper Town, where historic buildings and cobbled streets tell stories of the past, while the Lower Town is bustling with life, filled with cafés, restaurants and cultural facilities. The Zagreb Cathedral, with its recognizable Gothic architecture, dominates the city's sights, while Ilica attracts lovers of shopping and fine gastronomy. With green oases like Maksimir Park and a wealth of museums, from the Museum of Overseas Art to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb is a true metropolis that offers cultural, historical and recreational pleasures.  

 

Day 8 - Departure after breakfast with a stop in Đakovo

Đakovo, located in the heart of Slavonia, in the eastern part of Croatia, radiates history and
cultural significance. This episcopal city impresses with its imposing cathedral, which Pope John
XXIII. called "the most beautiful church between Venice and Constantinople". The cathedral
rises as a symbol of the spiritual and architectural greatness of Đakovo, attracting visitors with
its grandiosity and historical importance.
Ergela Đakovo, founded in 1506, is one of the oldest equestrian centers in Europe and proudly
carries a long tradition of horse breeding. Since the beginning of the 19th century, the stable
has been known for breeding Lipizzaner horses, one of the most prestigious horse breeds. This
tradition not only testifies to the rich history of horse breeding in this region, but also to the                                                                                    continuous preservation and improvement of equestrian skills and heritage

Day 9  - Osijek - breakfast at the hotel

Osijek is located in eastern Croatia on the right bank of the Drava River. The city is known for its
Art Nouveau architecture, especially in Gornji Grad (Tvrđa), a baroque military fortress from the
18th century that is one of the best preserved in Croatia. Today, the fortress is a cultural center
with numerous museums, galleries, bars and restaurants.
Breakfast - after breakfast departure for Kopački rit
"Kopački rit Nature Park" is located 10 minutes by car from Osijek.
The nature park is located in the triangle between the Danube and the Drava. Depending on the
water level, the waters of these two rivers constantly shape and change the appearance of Rito,
creating a beautiful mosaic of lakes, canals, ponds and coastal forests, reeds and wet
meadows. The entire Rit is widely known as the habitat of numerous waterfowl, a population of
deer, and especially the golden eagle, which is the symbol of the park.
Then a short walk, a boat ride and a visit to the Tikveš hunting lodge.
Continue to the ethnic village of Karanac to the restaurant "Baranjska kuća". In the Street of
Forgotten Time (an open-air museum with an ethnic collection of Slavonian handicrafts) there
will be a tasting of local brandies and liqueurs.
For lunch we will visit a special location "Pointers Goldberg" and Weinery Weinpert,  where traditional delicacies await
us.
